Making a Warranty Claim

Before returning a product, please contact us by email or telephone and describe the defect as precisely as possible. For the purpose of assessing the claim, we may request photographs, further information, or that the product be sent to us.

Please include proof of purchase, such as an invoice, order confirmation, or another suitable document showing the purchase date. Where available, the card enclosed with the product stating the year of purchase may also be included. The absence of this card alone does not exclude the warranty.

For valid warranty claims, EMFA GmbH will bear the necessary shipping costs for sending and returning the product or reimburse reasonable, documented shipping costs. If, after inspection, no warranty claim is found to exist, we will inform you before returning the product at your expense.

Please pack the product carefully for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

Exclusions

The warranty does not apply to damage caused by:

  • normal wear and tear;
  • improper use or use not in accordance with the intended purpose;
  • failure to follow safety or operating instructions;
  • use of force, such as impacts;
  • unauthorized repair attempts or modifications to the product.

Statutory Rights

Your statutory rights against the seller in the event of defects, particularly statutory warranty rights, remain available to you free of charge. These rights are not limited by this manufacturer’s warranty. The manufacturer’s warranty applies in addition to your statutory rights.
